Hyunsik (Robin) Kong

Robin Kong graduated with a master degree in mathematical modeling of complex systems from University of Koblenz after graduating with a bachelor degree in applied mathematics from Wheaton College.

His programs include various mathematical modeling, computational social science, data science, and linear and nonlinear optimization. He participated in and often led a number of research opportunities at Wheaton College which led to working with the medical department of Dupage County, Illinois, and the Department of Human Needs and Global Resources of Wheaton College. In the University of Koblenz, he wrote his master thesis on citation network analysis and similarity algorithms to mathematically and graphically examine sociological trends in academia under the supervision of Dr. Fariba Karimi.

Robin continues his research interest on the integration of mathematics and applied areas of expertise, especially social science and data analysis.
