Workshop on Gendering Science

A joint workshop for Science of Science and Gender Studies

We are pleased to invite scholars to the joint workshop on Computational Social Sciences and Gender Studies to build interdisciplinary bridges for studying the gender dimension within the scientific landscape.

The topics we intend to cover during the workshop through the 5- 10-minute presentations of the participants and their interactive dialogues are:

  • Women researchers’ collaborations/epistemologies/representation/participation, etc.
  • Parenthood in academia
  • Queer researchers’ experiences
  • Intersectional combinations with gender from historically marginalized communities (those suffering from racism, classism, ableism, xenophobia, etc) doing science.

Participation is free, but to attend, you need to register via the following link by the 10 of July so we can plan the presentation schedule accordingly. And send the presentation schedule to the attendees.
